New Year, New School, New Blog!

After years of educating adolescents, I have made the exciting move to work as an elementary school media specialist.  While learning an entirely new curriculum as well as learning about the learning and personal habits of second and third graders has been a challenge, the move has been welcomed! After two months of working with our young people and their amazing teachers, I think every middle school and high school teacher should spend a day or two observing and co-teaching in an elementary setting. We could all learn a lot from each other.  I'm looking forward to working with these innovative teachers as well as sharing what we are doing in the library this year!
